How to Organize Your Shoes in 5 Steps!

When you open your closet do shoes tumble out? Do you struggle to get through your front door? Can you children make a mountain with your shoes? Trust me I have been there. BUT I am here to give you a solution! Here are 5 steps to organize your shoes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Step 1: Collect ALL your shoes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Step 2: Organize your shoes into 3 categories - keep, toss, donate.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Step 3: Organize the shoes you kept into seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter). Also by how often your wear them (everyday vs special occasions.) From this see if there is anything else you can donate. For example: You notice you have 6 pairs of white flip flops. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Step 4: Select the shoe organizer that works for your space. If you have space on the closet floor, choose tiered shoe racks or cubbies. No floor space choose an on the door hanging organizer. If you have shelf space choose stacking drawers or bins.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Step 5: Only keep out the shoes you wear everyday for the current season. Pack the rest away.⠀

That's it! Now get to organizing! ⠀
